Infant

The Infant Room is calm and nurturing with various types of toys and equipment to help your child grow and learn every day. The ages in the Infant Room range from approximately 6 weeks to 15 months old. InfantYoung infants perform supervised tummy time with musical play mats and mirrors to help them with neck and back muscle development while the older infants perform various songs and activities to further their development. We follow the Houghton Mifflin and Early Beginnings curriculum and create weekly lesson plans that work with your child’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development. We create weekly enrichment plans with various songs, sign language, process and product art, and Spanish to enhance our lessons. The infants enjoy their daily outside time whether it would be a nice walk in our stroller or exploration on our playground. As the infants continue to grow, they start to begin their transition process. After the child turns a year old, they are transitioned from their crib to a cot and begin a slow adjustment to the toddler schedule.
